Funny how he just came along & stripped me down, bare from all the bullshit I’ve had to walk beside believing every word was real. It’s how he stumbled into my life and with every progressing day, he’s torn down the brick, cemented walls around my chest that I’ve sworn to keep away from the world. It used to be my safe haven, it was all that I knew. Without consent he stole it all from me and it was then, that he showed me his heart was the only safe place for mine. Funny how easy it is to forget your wounds when you’re with the right person. Better than any amount of steel armor
